Clean Committed - 6x4 with LuxTran logo.jpg

To our valued clients,

At Lux Transport, your health and safety are our highest priorities. As such, we wanted to share with you our participation in Destination Cleveland’s CLEAN COMMITTED initiative. Destination Cleveland, in partnership with health care experts at the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, Cleveland Clinic, The MetroHealth System and University Hospitals, developed recommended safe practices that local businesses can employ to support the safe and responsible operation of Cleveland to residents and visitors. We are proud to share that Lux Transport LLC is an official CLEAN COMMITTED business, and we promise to adhere to the practices recommended to keep our chauffeurs and clients safe. We are eager and excited to welcome you and hope that our promise to deliver on this commitment provides you with the comfort and confidence to travel with us. When you’re ready, we will be waiting for you. For more information about the impetus for this initiative and to find a list of all CLEAN COMMITTED businesses, visit www.cleancommitted.com.

Below are details on specifically how Lux Transport is acting to keep you safe and comply with all CDC guidelines for the limo industry:

Cleaning

All touch surfaces in the vehicle are cleaned and sanitized after every passenger.

Additionally, the air is frequently cleaned with a glycol-ized spray air sanitizer that was originally developed to combat airborne bacteria and germs in hospitals and health care facilities.

Social Distancing

Following CDC recommendations, we request that passengers avoid sitting in the front seat.

Additionally, we avoid using the vehicle’s recirculated air option unless required to keep out pollution or malodors (diesel/jet fumes, smoke, skunk, etc.). Instead, the vehicle’s vents are usually set to continuously bring in fresh, filtered outside air.

Where appropriate, the sunroof vent is also used to exhaust any stagnant vehicle air. If they wish, clients may also increase fresh air circulation by opening their window(s).

Limiting Contact

For added peace of mind, a plexiglass partition is available and may be requested to be added into the vehicle between the front and rear seats. Please note that a small fee may apply, depending on the complexity of the vehicle install and the frequency of need.

Per CDC guidelines, we had previously suspended the offering of Fiji water, gum, and literature. However, these items are once again available.

We are always eager to assist clients with their luggage during pick-up and drop-off. However, if kindly requested, we will certainly allow clients to handle their own personal bags/belongings should they prefer for their own peace of mind.

Preventing the spread

If requested in advance, the chauffeur will wear an appropriate face covering during all interactions and while driving.

Hand sanitizer is provided inside the vehicle and may be used after any client contact or client item contact and is recommended each time the chauffeur enters or exits the vehicle.

Chauffeur health is closely monitored for any fever, flu, or COVID-19 symptoms and they will not drive until cleared to do so by the Cleveland Clinic. We hope that client travel is not impacted by such an occurrence, but we apologize in advance should this ever happen.

Helping our Clients

Should clients feel concerned for their own health, they are asked to also wear a face covering during their time in the vehicle. Should they not have one, a medical grade covering will be provided (as available or while supplies last).

Tissues are easily accessible in the vehicle should the need arise. Small trash bins are readily accessible within the vehicle. We kindly request the proper disposal of any used tissues or other refuse before exiting the vehicle.

Hand sanitizer is also provided in the vehicle and is easily accessible for client use.

We do have the right to refuse service if proper care is not taken or if a client appears visibly ill and a potential health risk to the chauffeur.
