ROCK & roll hall of fame and museum
1100 E 9th St, Cleveland
An iconic building full of interesting artifacts of music icons. Spend an hour or spend a day here, but just be sure to check it out and be rocked!
Red, The Steakhouse
417 Prospect Ave E, Cleveland
Arguably one of the best—if not THE best—steakhouse in town. And you wouldn’t expect it, but we’ve been told they serve some fantastic and juicy chicken, as well. Definitely save room for dessert, because their donuts (yes!) are amazing!
Heinen’S OF DOWNTOWN
900 Euclid Ave, Cleveland
So, why on Earth are we recommending a visit to a grocery store? This truly unique store occupies an old bank building and the original floor and fabulous rotunda are can’t miss and Instagram-worthy. Plus, you can pick up a few essentials, some delectable treats, or even enjoy a wine tasting or some craft beer on tap while you shop!
Mallorca
1390 W 9th St, Cleveland
A Spanish/Portugeuese restaurant featuring wonderful main dishes to order and a set variety of side dishes served family-style. Their beef short rib special is incredibly tender and delicious and their paella is bountiful and fantastic. Don’t skip dessert here!
WEST SIDE MARKET
1979 W 25th St, Ohio City
Fascinating landmark featuring over 100 vendors, including some prepared food options like crepes, brats, gyros, and even a small diner with fantastic pierogi!
FAHRENHEIT
2417 Professor Ave, Tremont
As the name suggests, this is always a “hot” spot for some quality upscale dining. Two standout entrees are their Kobe Beef Short Rib and the Butter Poached Lobster Mac and Cheese.
PIER W
12700 Lake Ave, Lakewood
Unique restaurant perched at a cliff overlooking Lake Erie. A perfect place for a romantic date or celebratory meal with a stunning view of downtown and the shoreline. We hear that they have a fantastic lobster bisque.
CLEVELAND MUSEUM OF ART
11150 East Boulevard, University Circle
Stunning architecture, beautiful grounds, and a world-class collection of art, artifacts, sculptures, and more. And the most amazing part is that it’s all FREE!
Little Italy
Mayfield Rd and Murray Hill Rd, Cleveland
It’s hard to recommend just one spot here, so might as well recommend the entire neighborhood! Grab a nice sit-down meal at Etna, Mia Bella, or Michaelangelo’s. Grab some delectable pastries from Corbo’s or Presti’s Bakery. Get some Italian comfort food at Trattoria or Mama Santa’s. Grab a drink and people-watch at Maxi’s, TOLI (Tavern of Little Italy), or La Dolce Vita. Or just walk around and enjoy the different galleries and shops.
cedar point amusement park
1 Cedar Point Dr, Sandusky
Celebrating over 150 years, this progressive and iconic amusement park boasts some of the tallest and fastest roller coasters in the world… And that’s not hyperbole! No trip is complete without tackling the Millenium Force.
MAMA ROBERTO’S ITALIAN RESTAURANT
8658 Mentor Ave, Mentor
Although Cleveland has a solid Little Italy and other great Italian restaurants, this little spot is an absolute gem. Fantastically large calzones and divine garlic knots and bread are just a few of the highlights. Portions are large, so go with an appetite
”AMISH COUNTRY”
Mllersburg, Berlin, Walnut Creek, Sugar Creek, etc,
Relax and enjoy the simple life in the Holmes County region of Ohio where roughly half of all of Ohio’s Amish reside. There are beautiful rolling hills, wonderful eateries and shops, and a plethora of lodging options from standard hotels to treehouse log cabins! It’s a vast and wonderful experience, whether or not you choose to disconnect from your electronic devices during your visit!
Blossom Music Center
1145 W Steels Corners Rd, Cuyahoga Falls
This is a premier outdoor music amphitheater with awesome acoustics by architect Peter van Dijk that is nestled among the trees in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The summer home to the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra, this venue hosts some of the biggest touring acts every year, like Dead & Company, Dave Matthews Band, Kenny Chesney, Chris Stapleton, Phish, and more.
